How much do you charge for your services?
At My Claim Group, we are proud to operate on a no win, no fee basis for all our services. We offer a free service to all our clients on all claim types. My Claim Group will receive a marketing fee from one of the panel solicitors for obtaining the documents and for making the introduction. This fee is not deducted from your compensation and if you would like to know the exact amount of this then feel free to ask. You will only pay a success fee to one of our panel solicitors if they successfully win your case.
How long will it take to process my claim?
At My Claim Group, our objective is to ascertain if you have a claim as efficiently as possible, and notify you accordingly of the outcome. However, it's important to note that the duration of a claim can be influenced by various factors, including the cooperation of the defendants involved from whom we need to request documentation. While we strive to expedite the process, we anticipate that the timeframe for investigating claims typically falls within a window of 1 to 6 months. We understand the importance of timely resolution and will work diligently to achieve the best outcome for you within this estimated timeframe. Once we have established that you have a claim we will allocate your case to one of our trusted panel of solicitors who will then be able to give you a timescale of how long it will take to receive the compensation that you’re owed.
Can I make multiple claims?
Absolutely! At My Claim Group, we understand that individuals may have various legal matters they need assistance with. Many of our clients have multiple claims running simultaneously with our firm, involving different financial institutes and or cases related to injuries caused by someone else's negligence. What is a Plevin claim?
A Plevin claim relates to the mis-selling and mishandling of payment protection insurance (PPI) on a large scale over many years. In these cases, the claim focuses specifically on the "secret commissions" received by lenders from the policy holder. These commissions were undisclosed to the customer and led to an unfair imbalance in the policy's cost. By making a Plevin claim, you can seek compensation for the excessive commissions paid and address the unfairness of the situation.
What if I already claimed back my PPI?
Even if you did make a claim for PPI you can still enquiry and start your free plevin claim today. In some instances, when the lender refunded the PPI to the customer, they also paid back the secret commissions but in a lot of cases they only paid back the money for the premiums. This means that the refund the customer received was calculated incorrectly meaning that there is a further sum due to the client.
What if I never claimed back my PPI?
If you know that you were not sold a PPI policy then you are unable to make a claim for Plevin as the claim relates to the "secret commissions" applied when the customer took the policy. However, if you never enquired about your PPI then we are able to investigate these claims with your lender(s) and we can write to them to see if the policy was sold to you and if so then we are able to allocate a solicitor to reclaim this money on your behalf.
